I wish I was there with you to celebrate, because just like you said earlier, it's just another day these days! We'd go eat the yummiest food, shop til we drop, take a break for a pedi, then go home and admire all our goods from the day! Just like the good ol days!!!

Sundance!

This year I got to go to Sundance again! Four of us girls have gone the last 2 years, we work "security" for the stars Dinners, Parties, Theaters, Premiers, just wherever they stick us! I know what your thinkin security??? really??? I think the same thing myself, it's true though! I'm pretty sure if some fan came dashing through to "Edward" I couldn't stop them, but thats just when you call for some reinforcements, lol! Anyways it was a fun trip, I didn't see as many A list stars as last year but I did get to see and hold a door for Kevin Bacon, I saw WAY too much of miss drunken Paris Hilton, thanks to her we had to work til 4:30 am because she didn't want to leave to the event we were working til 4:00 when it was suppossed to be over at 2am! Anyway we also saw Ashton Kutcher, Russell Simmons, Virginia Maddson and I'm already drawing a blank on everyone else! The best part of the trip though was getting to spend hours and hours at Ikea!!

Coupon talk...

So sorry I haven't posted sooner in regards to everyones emails and comments about the whole couponing thing! I was out of town and I'm just plain tired, yes even too tired to blog!

I can honestly take no credit with the whole couponing thing, I "steal" other peoples ideas and scenarios off the web! I do religiously get the paper every Sunday, ranging anywhere from 2 to 10 papers every week and I also print alot of coupons! You can google just about any coupon and something is surely to come up! I always bring my coupons with me everywhere, you never know what is on clearance at Target or wherever your going that with a coupon it ends up FREE! Also if you have the heads up about an upcoming sale and you know with a certain coupon it would make the item cheap or free, you can usually always buy "lots" of coupons off of Ebay!

It is alot of reading at first but the more you get the hang of it the faster it gets! I usually get my paper, skim through it, then head to babycenter and start figuring up my deals, then to moneysavingmom to confirm my deals and make sure I'm not missing out on anything! It's definitely ALOT of time, thinking and planning but to me it's worth it! It has become a game to me, a guilty pleasure, I do my plannings while the kids are napping while I watch "Days of Our Lives" ( I know it's cheesy, don't judge!)! Back on the saddle...

With couponing that is! I took a break over the holidays and with Chris being gone it's kinda hard doing the coupon thing with the kids but as of this week I'm back on! So here's my bargains so far!

These 2 pictures combined was about 28 and some change ( retail was 161.00) Not too bad considering the diapers alone are normally 60.00!
and yes I think it is completely acceptable for all those Ben and Jerrys Ice creams to be next to the curves bar and south beach bars,lol!

Evil Arms

Today my Lilly came running into my room while I was on the phone gasping in total awe, shock, amazement, telling me "mom my arms are evil". I was in total disbelief, I didn't even think she knew that word, let alone what it meant. So she continues to tell me her arms are evil because she threw her doll soo hard her head popped off! An hour later now and she still can't get over it, I'm pretty sure she thinks she has super powers now!

Dinner and a Movie

New Years Eve. we had a babysitter for 3 hours so we grabbed some yummy Mexican food and then headed off to go see Four Christmases! I haven't laughed so freakin hard at a movie in a long time, we loved it! It was a nice evening, dinner, movie, in bed safely by 9:30! Chris left around 4am New Years day to head back to Heber for the last finishings of the house. So now it's back to me and kids trying to get back into *our* groove of when dads gone!

Bolt

Yesterday Melanie and I took the kids out for one last fun thing before the dreaded Monday morning arrived (dreaded for me, beyond excitement for Lexi!) Anyway we went and saw "Bolt". Such a cute movie!

I was so proud of Preston, he sat quietly through the whole movie, just munching on his popcorn!

Happy Birthday Lexi (5 days ago)

This year Lexi chose to have her Birthday at Kid Planet! We all had such a fun time, yes I said "we all", because by the end of the afternoon the adults decided to go have some fun in the maze! Lexi said she had the best Birthday ever, but she doesn't feel any different being 6! She's so funny, I can't believe she's been all ours for 6 years already, seems like yesterday our biggest baby weighing in at 7lbs 13oz was born. Now she's our tall skinny eldest girly girl to her 2 little siblings that she loves to boss around! We love you Lexi, you made me and your daddy the happiest people on earth 6 years ago!

P.S. 6 years is old enough, you can stop growing any minute now! It's going by way to fast for mom!

So I went and saw it without reading any of the books, first time I've ever done that! Loved it, went straight to Walmart after and got my first Twilight book. So I guess this is it, I'm officially a follower...

Had a fun opportunity to go work at Sundance last year, it was an awesome, exciting time to be within hugging distance with so many huge celebrities! (Oh yeah I get to go back this year,yay!!!)
