We'll start with last Sunday....
~ I was seriously a nervous wreck thinkin Chris wouldn't make it home for Christmas because of the weather...
~ Called Chris early Monday morning so see where he was at, I'm think he should be in Flagstaff... WRONG he was already in Twin Falls (2 hours from home).... He left Sunday evening when he got off work! That 2 hour drive turned into a 7 hours. I'm so grateful he made it home safe, he was exhausted and said he didn't ever know he ever pulled "all nighters" back in the day,lol My how times have changed...
~ A 15 hour drive turned into a 23 hour drive cause the roads were so bad. They closed the border between here and Utah right after Chris went through...
~ Chris and his girlies braved the roads and the mall for some Christmas shopping on Tuesday!
~ Snow, snow and some more snow...
~ Wrapping wrapping and some more wrapping...
~ Christmas eve at the Farrells, yummy food, games and of course the opening up Christmas jammies!
~ Christmas Eve. surprise, Grandma and Papa Fogle showed up!
~ Stayed up to the weee hours being Santas helpers...
~ Christmas morning, huge smiles, lot of laughter, TONS of trash, twistie ties and cardboard cuts on the hands. Lots of playing, lounging, building an igloo, nap for the P. man, then it was time to head to the Farrells for more presents and Christmas dinner!
~ Friday, got a late start, rushed to Macy's to hopefully get an amazing deal on new pots and pans... No such luck, I had just missed the last one. Geez don't these people know that just maybe if I had pretty new pots I'd just maybe cook my family some amazing dinners?!?!
~Saturday, we had some sad kids as the Fogle G-parents hit the road trying to beat the storm, no such luck but they did make it home safely, two days later...
~ Sunday pure laziness and man that felt gooooood!
~ Monday packed up all the Christmas stuff, put the tree away, Chris took down the lights and now our home looks so bare... Took a trip to Target and the Walmart, fought the crowd to get some food! Shouldn't the crowds be done with??? Dropped the groceries inside the door and rushed to meet Melanie for a Zumba class down at the Y. If you don't know what Zumba is look for a video on youtube, the really try hard not to laugh for butts off picturing me trying to do it!! I'll just say my white girl hips don't move like that and let me just add this is the most out of the box thing I've EVER done!!
~ Today, off to Zumba again in about an hour then we're spending the rest of the day celebrating our Lexi loves 6th Birthday (her special post to follow) We'll be spending the day at kid planet, fun fun!
Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas!
