My Boys and Girls...

Nothing new going on around here besides a house full of the sickies AGAIN!! Geez 2008 has not been good to us sickness wise, I think we have caught everything there is to catch and as soon as I think the last kid gets it the cycle just starts over and over... Anyway here's a few pics I took last week on our only 2 days everyone was feeling good!!

Easter Dresses...

So me who hasn't touched a sewing machine since Mrs. Owens class in the 7th grade is taking on the task of making the girls Easter Dresses! I have an awesome teacher (my Aunts mother in law) who is being very patient and taking me through it step by step! It's a little stressful, when I opened the pattern it was like a foreign language to me,lol! So, so far I've cut the pattern, sown the bodice and one gathered sleeve! I'm headed over today to do the other sleeves, zipper and skirt! So here's a few pics of my first night "on the job"!

Exciting News!!!

Well exciting for us anyways!! We're officially starting our first flip!!! Chris picked up the keys yesterday and is already starting Demo today!!! The house was built in 1923 and is in the Historic District, it has so much character and charm, I'm in LOVE with it! So the next 8 weeks I'll have lots of updates to blog as this adventure starts! So here's all the befores!

Cars Cars Cars....

Well Preston had his "Cars" Birthday, so cute! Everything went well and he made out like usual! Seriously where in the world can we put more toys,lol?!? I'm pretty sure that's a topic that deserves it's own blog, "Never Ending Toys", Hmmm I'll be tackling that one later this week! Anyway here's some pics!

Happy 2nd Birthday Preston!!!

Well it all started on July 15th 2005 ( well I guess it didn't all start that day ;) ) your dad and I were picking up a pizza and taking your sisters to the Show Low park to play and eat dinner! I had your dad stop at K-Mart because I just didn't "feel" right to get me a YiKeS prego test! So there we were sitting at the park that evening watching your sisters play and I just couldn't wait any longer I had to know, so yep mom ran to the park restroom, ran back to dad and that's how we found out we were having you! It was a total shock, so not planned, but we would never have it any other way! You blessed our lives 3 & 1/2 wks. early on March 2, 2006 at 5:13 a.m. weighing 6lbs 7oz. 17 &1/2 in.. We all fell in love with you instantly, you were such a great baby! The last 2 years have been a blast, you have such personality that just brightens each day around here! We wish nothing but the best years of fun, health and happiness for your future! We love you so much and hope you have a GREAT Birthday! Here's a little video for our little man! So NOT fun...

Since Wednesday our poor little lilly has been so sick, ears, throat,vomit, the whole works! We got her into the Dr. yesterday since it wasn't obviously passing on its own, so not fun sitting in a walk in clinic for hours amongst the rest of the people who have who knows what! Anyway pretty sure she has strep and was way dehydrated since I wasn't able to get any fluids down her, plus she had thrown up any little fluid that had been there! So they gave her a few shots, some scripts to get filled and said if I could get any fluid in her by last night take her to the ER to get some IV fluids. Well luckily she finally had a little juice and kept it down right as I was getting ready to take her into the ER. Little stinker obviously knew what was coming if we went there, since she was there not too long ago! So here we are this morning and she's definitely feeling better but still won't touch food, I know food isn't as important as fluid but still 4 days without eating is freaking me out! So here's a few pics of Lilly from the last few days!

So I seriously can't figure out how to put the pictures where I want them, so annoying!! The two pictures of the kids eating is what I got on my phone while I was soooo starving sitting at the Dr.!! Thanks Chris I hope that pizza at Primos was freakin great!!! ;)

Stranger Danger!

So obviously we haven't taught our kids enough about stranger danger because Lexi apparently thinks it's ok to let people in our house while moms down stairs! So I'm down stairs cleaning, got the radio going thinking Chris is upstairs so I don't have to worry about whats going on up there, I guess I was WRONG! Lexi comes down and is like mom our neighbor lady is here, me ok wheres your dad? Lexi- " He's outside", ok whatever back to cleaning, thinking well of coarse she's talking to Chris out front! Then Lexi says mom she's in the living room, ok, weird, so I go running upstairs to find this lady that I have never scene before standing right inside the door! Her first words are ohh they're so cute, do you ever feel the stress of being a mother? lol, Ummm No( yeah right!!), she then says wow you must read and learn from the bible, your a saint, yeah at that point I was pretty sure she was a Jehovah Witness (sp?) so I then nicely tell her that we're Mormon and she then says oh I can tell and leaves,lol! So right about then I was feeling the stresses of being a mother as I'm asking Lexi what the heck was she thinking opening the door for ANYONE and then letting them come in!! Umm yeah I totally thought she knew better, so then my next mission is to go give Chris the wrath of Nichole because yeah where was he when I thought he was watching the kids? Out front cleaning his truck, so then I was super ticked cause I just knew he was trying to get out of talking to the Jehovah Witness and was going to let me deal with them,lol, although he swears he didn't see her walk up, yeah suurreee Chris!! By the way he's totally sticking to his story,lol! So yeah this is kinda a boring story but the part that cracks me up now is the whole "do you ever feel the stresses of being a mother" question, are you kidding me lady?!? My kids just answered the door, let you in, they're running around in either jammies or diapers, then you see me in awful sweats with a greasy ponytail on top of my head, no makeup, with probably the look of horror when I saw you standing in my living room, No stresses here,lol!!
