Meet The Teacher!

Last night was "the BIG night" to go find out if Lexi was in a.m. or p.m. kindergarten and see who her teacher was!

She was very excited to get her picture taken (of coarse!)

We found out her cousin Riley is also in her class!

She basically just stared at her teacher Mrs. Lohse in awwww the whole time!

in front of the school!

heading home...

Lake time and a Hair cut

The price you pay when your having too much fun and forget to put sunblock on! My face is still currently looking like a lobster!

Sunday we went to Oregon, to Ohwyhee Reservoir with the Dines and Farrells for one last trip before school starts!

We got there Sunday morning and stayed til almost dark! Here's Tanner at a random dock we stopped at!

My Lexi posing, she had an absolute blast and is finally not scared of the boat!

Lilly enjoying the ride!

the beautiful sunset!

Justin throwing Preston in to me!

Prestons first time fishing and dad missed it :( (Chris was working in Donnely, about 3 hrs. north of where we live)

me and my Lillers

Everythings always good when you have Goldfish!

Lexi and I had a little girls morning, I took her to get her hair cut for the first time at a Salon! I'm hoping this cut makes the mornings easier! I'd hate to have to send her to school every morning with big puffy eyes from crying while I brush her hair!

Of coarse we made it through all summer with no sunburn and the week before school starts, right under her eyes got toasted!

So cute!

We all love it and she's not so secretly hoping that everyone at school will say "Lexi your hair is sooo cool"! She's such a nut!

Are we done yet?!?

To answer my own question, almost! I was just laying out all the girls school clothes out and man I'm starting to feel for my mom! I can hardly imagine taking all 5 kids at once to AZ Mills to get all our school shopping done in one trip, man that must have sucked!! I'm at this moment very grateful to now live close to shopping so I can gather clothes all summer long, shop sales and basically just shop in increments so it doesn't *seem* like we're spending a small fortune! Oh and trips from Nanas always help ;) ! So I think we're down to *needing* 2 pairs of brown shoes, 2 pairs of black, 2 pairs of plain jeans, more tights/leggings and 2 backpacks! Hmmm seems like alot now that I typed that out!

On another note here... this is what I saw when I went into the girls room this morning next to Lexi's bed!

I'm so not ready for my *perfectly* decorated little girls room to be covered in posters!! I think she's testing me with the whole not letting her get more Hannah Montana clothes or backpack! I know I suck but I HATE character clothes, I'm mean, Nanas nice, she got her 1 Hannah shirt and I'm thinkin the poster! I know I didn't buy it,lol! I guess maybe I shouldn't pick this as my battle and save my energy for the teenage years...

We got our YeeHaaaw on...

Right now the Caldwell Nights Rodeo is going on, it's a pretty big deal for anyone that Rodeos or follows it. The top 25 in the world come here for 4 days competing and getting filmed by ESPN! Anyway it's all new to me,lol! So our friend Aimee was going to take Lexi with her and her family last night to the rodeo, Lexi was SUPER excited and just as I was walking out the door to drop her off Aimee calls and says I should just come with her. After about 5 mins of me telling every excuse not to go, she wins, I go! So because I have no Rodeo getup, she had me an outfit all picked out for when I got to their house. No I didn't get all crazy with the cowgirl clothes (lol) but I did wear this awesome belt ( a kippy) and for those of you like me that had no idea what a "kippy" was, they're a freaking awesome blinged ( I like me some bling!) out belt that are crazy expensive (400.00 give or take) and black boots, cute boots not what I had stuck in my head when I think cowboy boots and of coarse jeans and a black tank! So I can actually say not too bad, I was actually comfortable wearing it,lol nothing like stepping out of the box!

This is the most cowgirly outfit we could come up with!

We had a blast, I actually really enjoyed watching all the events and Lexi loved it just as much! I think I might actually drag Chris there this weekend to check it out! I'm actually going back Thursday night with the girls cause it's "tough enough for pink" night and what can I say, I can't turn down a night to get all pinked out!

Lexi and Jace

Here's a belt kinda like the one I wore. I saw all sorts of girls wearing them with flip flops, so not "country" lookin at all, so I searching for a black one now cause I'm in love, oh and a knock off of coarse is what I'll be getting, lol!

So the moral of the story is, maybe you'll just actually like the rodeo! Who would have thought?

A Busy Week!

Geez last week flew by and next thing I knew almost a week had gone by without a post! I know, I know, all my gazillions of readers (more like 1, Hi mom :) ) were just heartbroken not knowing what crazy things those Fogle kids have been up to! So here's the run down:

First and for most Mr. P got his first pair of undies, now unlike his sisters he was less than thrilled to get these! It took Chris and I and some muscle to force these suckers on him and he had them right back off in under 1 second, he'd rather be naked!

So now not only do I need to teach him how sit on the toilet the right way, I've got to teach him that it's cool to wear under-roos!

I took my 2 little chickies and Tanner to the mall and met Melanie and Kolbi for some Shopping! Poor Tanner was the only boy, but hey when you grow up in Heber you'll jump on any trip to the mall no matter who it's with ;)! We indulged in all sorts of girly stores, kid stores, spent WAY to much time and sweet moola in Gymboree and Tanner was such a great sport along the way! We got him a spiffy new hair cut to show off his beautiful blue eyes with mile long eye lashes ( this is the part where he rolls his eyes and turns 20 shades of red) that he was hiding under his shaggy mop!

Preston got to go to work with dad that day! He must have got bored while they were at the dump, cause he decided to add a little color to leather seats and console! What a doll...

Ohh yeah, can't forget the day I got to have fun cleaning the flip house, yep that's right folks, it's done!!! It turned out so beautiful and I'm completely jealous that we can't just move in! I'll get pics this week!

Oh and as of last Fri I was down 4lbs, yippppeee!

What A Blast!!

So I'm pretty sure that was the most ADVENTUROUS, funnest thing I've done! We all had a blast! We got on the water a little after 10:00 after a 40 minute bus ride, we stopped for the yummiest lunch that they prepared about 1/4 of the way into the trip! There was 3 different calm parts that you could get out of the raft and swim, our guide was awesome and took Lilly for a dip, then pretty consistently after lunch we hit 4 class 3 rapids that were amazing, so scary but SO FUN! I believe we floated up around 4:30 to meet our bus to then take a 20 minute ride back to Cascade! What an awesome day! Lilly did great and absolutely loved it!

So this is (left to right) me, Lilly, Riley, Melanie

Carol in front of Melanie and then Tanner "on the bull"

Our guide talked Tanner into riding the bull at the end

to get a crazier experience!

We went 11 miles in all

all adults must sit on the sides and paddle, paddle...

They have a photographer set up at a few different Rapids,

that got these awesome pics!

only the little ones were aloud to sit in the middle

of the rafts!

Can we soaked?!?

Justin and Chris followed behind us in Kayaks, so no pics of them till I get our water proof camera developed (dang film cameras!)

Thanks for hooking us up Justin :)!!

Cascade Raft and Kayak will this entice any visitors ;)

A tween in the house...

Well 2:00 today can't come soon enough for our kids! They are sooo excited that their cousin Tanner is coming to stay with us for a while! He'll be starting school here and awaiting the rest of his family whenever their home sells. Poor kid didn't want to have to start in the middle of the year and I definitely don't blame him! So for the next however long we'll have a tween in the house, crazy! I'm pretty sure I'm going to feel old the day school starts cause not only will my baby start kindergarten, I'll then be trekking over to the Jr. High making sure Tanners all good to go....WOW!

So what better way to welcome Tanner than with a rafting trip!! Tomorrow bright and early Chris, Tanner, Lilly, 3 of the Farrells and I will hit the Payette for a full day of white water rafting! Chris and Justin will kayak and the rest of us will be be on the raft with a guide! I'm scared to death for myself let alone bringing Lilly, but this is so up her alley and we hardly ever get to do one on one with her so that actually excites me! Lexi is definitely a no go, she has absolutely NO interest and Preston I feel is still way too small even though the the owners take their babies, too scary for me!
